We supplied ABB with 3 seawater lift pumps, including 1 spare unit. The pumps are located in the Borwin Alpha wind farm. We were involved in the project from the beginning and were able to offer a total solution consisting engineering, production, delivery and assembly of the installations. The frequency controlled pumps operate at a capacity of 700 m3/h in conjunction with a head of 77.5 metres. The submersible pumps have a super duplex design and each has an installed capacity of 215 kW. We also used 10” duplex risers, including air release valves.
