In close collabaration with a large Dutch exploration and production operating company Pleuger Water Solutions delivered special custom made Polyurethane centralizers. The centralizers have been designed with a small space between caisson and riser in mind. The creative design makes them perfectly suitable for new as well as already existing caissons, were space is limited. Polyurathane has excellent seawater resistance, doesn’t damage the caisson and is suitable for unique design solutions.
In this case 3 cables are guided alongside the riser, with no space for additional clamps. Therefore the centralizer itself has integrated slits to insert the cable. This way the mechanics don’t have to run 120+ meters of cables through a small plastic insert.
